Classic oil radish
Oil radish is a very deep-rooting plant which opens up soil compaction and gives the soil a lot of organic matter. Due to this oil radish is a good protection against nitrogen leaching over winter.
Particularly for potato crop rotations, varieties have been selected for their features of controlling Potato Ringspot syndrome caused by the Tobacco rattle virus (TRV).
